On 21st March 2013 the Australian Govenment Apologised. to everyone affected by forced adoptions.  Apology for Forced Adoption.  The word Forced refers to use of coercion, manipulation as well as  physical force.  ARMS (Vic) acknowledges the pain and grief that mothers, fathers, sons and daughters have borne through being separated from each other.

The Forced Adoptions Redress Scheme is now open to Applications.  See our News page
